Two features use Claude to put your own numbers into words. In both, RecAce does the counting from your matches. Claude never works out a number.
Ask RecAce
At the top of Analytics there is a box: type a question about your matches and press the arrow. For example:
- How do I do against lefties when it's hot?
- Am I better in singles or doubles?
- Who do I lose to most?
- What's my record against Dave this year?
You get a one or two sentence answer, a short table with the records behind it, and "See the matches", which lists them on the Matches screen. Clear that list with the X on its chip.
When an answer is missing matches because something was never logged, a "Make this answer better" box under it says what and how to fix it: matches with no start time (with a button that lists them so you can add one), opponents with no hand set (opens Players), or outdoor matches with no weather (give their courts a city in Settings). The more you add, the more RecAce can answer.
It can answer questions about your results: your record against someone or with a partner, on a court or surface, indoors or outdoors, in singles or doubles, by sport, by time of day, day of the week, month or year, by temperature and wind (for matches that have weather), against left or right-handers, in league or tournament matches, and in matches that went to a deciding set. It cannot answer questions about things RecAce does not record, like serve percentages or shot counts, and it says so.
Free accounts get 5 questions a month and Pro gets 100. A question that cannot be answered still counts. Questions and answers are not stored, and your notes are never sent for them.
The monthly coach's report (Pro)
On the 1st of each month, Pro members who played at least 3 matches the month before get a coach's report, in the app and by email. It has:
- A headline about the month, with your record, rating change and practice hours
- What changed compared with the month before, and a line quoted from your own notes
- Your best win and closest loss (tap one to open the match)
- What to work on in the month ahead, with a button to make it your practice focus
- Who to play next, with your record and your odds against them, a game plan and the head-to-head
Claude writes the words from numbers RecAce worked out and the notes you wrote that month. Any sentence with a number that is not in RecAce's figures is left out, and a quote only appears if it is word for word in one of your notes.
The report shows on your dashboard for the first 10 days of the month, and every report you have had is under Analytics > Coach's notes. The email follows Settings > Notifications > Tips and progress.
Free accounts see the month's record and rating change on the dashboard, with the rest of the report one tap away with Pro.
